Do players pay for Slams too?

Not for an account: players view their profile, rating and badges without paying. Only the club takes out a paid subscription if it wants one. If a player signs up for a paid event, they pay a 4% platform fee (minimum €0.95) on top of the entry fee.

What does it cost if I charge an entry fee?

Slams charges a 4% platform fee per paid registration, with a minimum of €0.95. This fee applies on every plan and is separate from your subscription. The player pays the fee, so you keep the full entry fee. For free registrations Slams never charges anything.

Can I buy the Early Adopter plan?

No, that plan is not for sale. It is a relationship perk that Slams grants itself. As a club you choose between Start (free), Plus and Pro.

Slams offers a free Start plan plus the paid Plus and Pro subscriptions, with a platform fee that is separate from your plan.

Slams has four plans: a free entry-level plan and two paid subscriptions you sign up for yourself. The fourth plan, Early Adopter, is not for sale and is only granted by Slams. For players an account is always free; they only pay a platform fee on a paid registration.

The plans at a glance

Start (free): up to 2 events active at once (an event with several categories counts as one), up to 20 teams, 1 location. No credit card required and no time limit.
Plus (€19 per month or €190 per year): unlimited events and teams, 1 location.
Pro (€39 per month or €390 per year): everything in Plus, plus unlimited locations and up to 5 clubs from a single dashboard.
Early Adopter: everything unlimited. This plan is not for sale and serves as a relationship perk.

If you choose an annual subscription, you pay the equivalent of ten months. So two months are free.

What is included in each plan?

Even the free Start plan is complete: automatic Slams ratings, player profiles with a rating graph, shareable pages, challenges, notifications and email support. The AI assistant for creating competitions is included in every plan too. Features like badges, credits, partner matching, custom branding (logo and color) and CSV import are part of Plus and higher. Working with multiple locations or clubs is available from Pro onward.

The platform fee is separate from your plan

Do you charge an entry fee for an event? Then Slams charges a 4% platform fee per paid registration, with a minimum of €0.95. This fee always applies, regardless of your plan, so it is separate from your subscription. The player pays the fee, so you keep the full entry fee. Free registrations are always free, Slams charges nothing on those. Your own Stripe or Mollie account automatically pays the entry fee out to your account. Upgrading, downgrading and cancelling

You manage your subscription in your dashboard under Subscription in the sidebar. Upgrading is instant: you pay through Stripe and the new limits apply right away. A downgrade takes effect at the end of your billing period, and your data is always kept. With a monthly subscription you can cancel every month, and with an annual subscription your account drops back to the free Start plan at the end of the paid period.
